Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Full reimbursement minus processing charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for transactions via credit card
Conditions: Request must be made officially in writing by email or call
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total charter cost
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: A €25 deduction from the refund
Conditions: Acceptable reason needed; administrative costs applicable
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No refund provided
Exception: Consideration given for urgent circumstances
Alternative: Offer of credit for a charter, subject to management’s discretion
Conditions: Proof needed for emergency circumstances
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our highest priority. Should weather conditions render chartering unsafe as determined by our certified captain, we provide several accommodations:
- Full Refund: A complete refund is given if rescheduling isn't possible
- Reschedule: You may reschedule your charter to another available date without incurring additional fees
- Charter Credit: Credit valid for 12 months from the date of the original charter
Weather Assessment Process
Our weather evaluation entails:
- Evaluation of wind patterns including speed and direction
- Analysis of wave magnitude and conditions at sea
- Forecasts regarding visibility and precipitation
- Issued advisories and warnings by the Coast Guard
- Safety assessment by a professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions on weather-related cancellations are confirmed no less than 4 hours prior to the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We comprehend that medical urgencies can arise unexpectedly. The subsequent conditions may be eligible for exceptional consideration:
- Sudden ailment or injury necessitating hospital care
- Demise of an immediate family member
- Military orders or recall on an emergency basis
- Mandatory jury duty or legal summons
- Environmental disasters impacting travel
Documentation Requirements
For processing requests under emergency circumstances, the following documents are requested:
- Doctor's note or hospital records
- Death certification when relevant
- Commands from military authorities
- Legal notices of summons or duty for a jury
- Notices of travel disruption or state of emergency
Processing: Refunds due to emergencies are accomplished within 3-5 business days post-receipt of adequate documentation.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
Should the vessel assigned to your charter encounter mechanical issues that can't be resolved:
- Alternate Vessel: We try to arrange a similar vessel as replacement
- Full Refund: Granted if finding a replacement becomes impracticable
- Partial Refund: Applicable if the replacement vessel has different pricing terms
- Compensation: Additional recompense may be offered for any inconvenience caused
Crew Unavailability
Should there be instances where available certified crew is not available:
- A substitute crew will be sought wherever feasible
- Complete reimbursement if the charter can't commence
- Options for rescheduling without any extra cost
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Our procedure for issuing refunds reverts to the original mode of payment that was used when booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

A €25 charge applies to all refunds via bank transfer

Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Charter credits are sometimes presented as an option instead of refunds under certain conditions:
- Late cancellation enquiries (less than 24 hours notice)
- Cancelations tied to weather changes
- Requests for voluntary rescheduling
- Service interruptions
Credit Terms
- Validity: Effective for 12 months post-issuance
- Transferability: Cannot be transferred to others
- Value: Equivalent to the full charter fee excluding processing charges
- Usage: Applicable to any charter availability
- Expiration: No prolongation beyond the 12-month limit
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
If the service of your chartered yacht is interrupted or curtailed due to factors under our influence:
- Refund on a prorated basis according to the time unutilized
- Credit for a future charter of comparable value
- Complementary services or potential upgrades
Guest-Related Interruptions
If the charter ends prematurely owing to the behavior or safety breaches by the guests:
- There will be no reimbursement for the remaining time
- Full charges due are upheld
- Potential additional fees may apply
Dispute Resolution
If you have any disagreement with the outcome of a refund, you have the option to:
- Request reassessment by our administrative team
- Present further proof or documentation
- Seek mediation via consumer advocacy bodies
- Implement legal actions in accordance with prevailing laws
